The sports training camp in Lugansk will end with a boxing tournament among young men.
The national boxing teams of the LPR and the DPR hold joint training camps at the Lugansk Higher School of Physical Education, the Lugansk Republican Boxing Federation said.
The meeting of the Donetsk and Luhansk boxing schools will last until September 23. During this time, Lugansk residents will exchange experience with 15 students of the Donetsk Olympic Reserve School named after S. Bubka, who arrived in Lugansk under the leadership of the USSR Master of Sports Vladimir Kalinichenko.
The Luhansk team is headed by Vadim Nikitin, the senior coach of the boxing department of the LNUFC and the LPR national boxing team.
At the opening of the training camp on September 16, the head of the sports and youth department of the MKSM Oleg Shereneshev noted that joint events are another step towards making athletes stronger, which will allow them to successfully perform at republican and all-Russian tournaments.
At the end of the event, the boxers will enter the ring of the republican tournament in memory of Eduard Didorenko, which will be held on September 23 in Lugansk.
Earlier it was reported that the Donetsk Karate Kosiki Federation is also preparing to hold the first competition this season.
