One of the notable successes in Telugu last year was the action drama Akhanda starring Nandamuri Balakrishna. This is the first childhood film to feature in the 100 crore club. The film grossed over Rs 200 crore, including satellite, OTT and musical rights. The film was directed by Boyapati Srinu. Now he is coming up with a new film after the huge success of Akhanda. Balayya will be seen in dual roles as Akhora sage Akhanda Rudra Sikander and Murali Krishna. Starring Pragya Jaiswal, the film also stars Jagapathi Babu, Srikanth, Nitin Mehta, Poorna, Avinash, Subbaraju and Shravan. Boyapetty Sreenu is the director. The film is co-written by director M Ratna. C Ram Prasad is the cinematographer. Music is by S Thaman and produced by Miryala Ravinder Reddy under the banner of Dwarka Creations.
