The Bper Banca Group has obtained four prestigious awards as part of the Mf Banking Awards 2021, the event that annually marks the excellence of the national banking and financial world. The prizes were delivered, in virtual mode, during a ceremony broadcast last night in live streaming. Bper Banca, in particular, was awarded the Guido Carli Elite Award as retail bank of the year and the Leone d’oro Award for the best TV positioning campaign, while Banco di Sardegna received the Best Banks Award as the number one bank. 1 for capital requirements and Bibanca obtained the Value Creators Award which indicates efficiency performance. The Guido Carli Elite Award as retail bank of the year was virtually withdrawn by Stefano Rossetti, Deputy General Manager of Bper Banca.

It is no coincidence, in fact, that in the newly acquired branches, customers have found the same staff under the Bper banner that has been their point of reference in recent years, and who now have further opportunities for professional development. The Golden Lion Award for the best TV positioning campaign was virtually withdrawn by Pierpio Cerfogli, Deputy General Manager and Chief Business Officer of Bper Banca.

The motivation refers to the launch of the TV campaign “Country that you go, Bper Banca that you find”, an important milestone that celebrates the growth and solidity of the brand in the Italian banking market, as a reflection of a rapidly growing company. The concept consolidates the positioning of a nearby bank capable of communicating with individuals and businesses. The objectives are essentially three: to affirm the national role of the Bper Banca brand, to increase reputation and consideration and to consolidate the relationship with the territories. The results are very satisfactory and have produced a significant increase in awareness.

The Best Banks Award as bank number 1 for capital requirements was virtually withdrawn by Antonello Arru and Giuseppe Cuccurese, respectively President and General Manager of Banco di Sardegna. The Institute, confirming its role of reference in the region, has shown great capital solidity in the results of the 2020 financial statements, with a Cet 1 Ratio and a Tier 1 Ratio phased-in at 31.96% – among the best in the system – while credit quality is clearly improving. The Creators of Value Award was virtually withdrawn by Diego Rossi, General Manager of Bibanca, a product company of the Bper Group specializing in consumer credit and e-money.
