BRAC Bank has recently organized an agent banking conference with agent banking partners of five southern districts of the country to formulate a business roadmap for 2024 and beyond.
It was organized at Kuakata, Patuakhali to promote financial inclusion with the support of Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The aim of the day-long conference was to strengthen the relationship between the bank and the bank’s agent partners and increase mutual cooperation.
Agent partners, agent field officers, agent relationship officers and distribution network and SME banking officials of Barisal, Patuakhali, Khulna, Jessore and Jhenaidah regions of BRAC Bank participated in the conference.

At the conference, the agent banking leaders also discussed strategies and plans to effectively tackle the problem of money laundering, improve transaction monitoring and ensure financial services to people in every region of the country.
