Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Brahmastra’ directed by Ayan Mukerji. The film will release on September 9 across India in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam languages.
The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Melanie Roy, Nagarjuna among others. In this case, the press meet of the film was held in Hyderabad yesterday. It was attended by Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, director Ayan Mukerji, SS Rajamouli, Nagarjuna, Jr. NTR, Mouni Roy and Karan Johar.
At that time, Karan Johar, who was working in many fields as an actor, producer and TV presenter, had said that Indian cinema should not be divided into South Indian cinema and North Indian cinema.
Talking about this, he said, “We want to take our film to every corner of the country. As director Rajamouli sir said, this is Indian cinema. It should not be divided into Bollywood and Tollywood. We want to be beyond the word ‘wood’. We are proud to be a part of cinema. From now on, every film should come out as Indian cinema,” he said.
Film insiders are saying that the ‘Boycott’ culture that is spreading in Bollywood is likely to cause problems for the collection of ‘Brahmastra’.
