Starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Mauni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni, “Brahmastra” is a screen epic that combines a reflection of ancient India and the modern world, with the much-anticipated film set to release in 2022.
In the presence of a large number of fans in Delhi, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, along with today’s icon of youth, unveiled the motion poster along with director Ayan Mukherjee amid great fanfare. The official release date of the film was also announced as 09.09.2022. The motion poster introduces Ranbir Kapoor’s character Shiva in a dazzling, admirable manner amidst the fire.
Commenting on the release of “Brahmastra” in 2022, director Ayan Mukherjee said, “This is the story that has lived inside me for the last 10 years. The film will be a great entertainer to celebrate with the family and I am delighted to present to the audience an unprecedented cinematic experience in India, a journey full of adventures and an emotionally heart-warming creation. With state-of-the-art technology, we have created Brahmastra to make every scene, on a scale never before seen in India, a global pop cultural event. It gives us great pleasure to see audiences again in theaters, and we look forward to an exciting journey in the next few months with my crew presenting the film Brahmastra to the audience, ”he said.
Brahmastra – Trilogy is a 3-part film. This is the beginning of India’s first original universe – Astrovers will launch. It will give a new cinematic experience, inspired by ideas and stories deeply rooted in Indian mythology and set the story in the modern world in that context. The epic story of fantasy adventure, good and evil, love and hope, all of which have been created using sophisticated technology in a way that has never been seen on screen in India before.
The film is co-produced by Fox Star Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus and Starlight Pictures. Starring Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mauni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni, the blockbuster Indian work will be released in 5 Indian languages on 09.09.2022 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
