Berlin – In Berlin, too, the supermarket shelves are confusing for many customers, because many foods are full of quality seals, logos and symbols that promise a lot. For example, there is the yoghurt from a large retail chain. The word organic is on the lid, next to it is the seal of the Naturland association. The Nutri-Score shows that there is very little sugar in it, another seal that the cardboard packaging was produced in an ecologically correct manner. That’s not all – the logo “Organic – according to the EC Organic Regulation” is emblazoned on the left and the green EU organic seal on the right.
