BOLZANO. The Vipiteno Traffic Police reported 5 people for a violent fight that broke out a few evenings ago on the A22, inIsarco Est service area between the Bolzano Nord and Chiusa toll booths.

During the night the patrols intervened for several reports of a fight. Once on site, the officers managed to stop 5 people of Pakistani origin, all residents in the province of Bolzano, and another four who were wearing leather jackets with the distinctive signs of the “Red Lions Südtirol MC” motorcycle group.

From the reconstruction, it seems that the attack began for futile reasons outside the service station, and then continued inside the bar, and two Pakistanis and 3 South Tyrolean bikers actively took part. All were reported to the Bolzano Public Prosecutor’s Office for the crime of aggravated brawl.

The matter was reported to the police commissioner Paolo Sartori who, following an investigation by the Anti-Crime Division of the Police Headquarters, will have to evaluate the possible adoption of personal prevention measures towards the suspects.
