“What are you laughing at?” Joan Baldoví asked a Vox deputy in the Valencian Parliament. The brawl arises when the opposition reacts to the intervention of the Minister of Justice and Interior, Elisa Núñez (Vox), who assured that Compromís is a partner of “those who filled the streets with blood and shrapnel”, referring to the EH Bildu party.
After these statements, Baldoví, spokesperson for Compromís, asked to intervene in the plenary session. That’s when Vox deputy Ana Vega laughed. “What are you laughing at?” she said defiantly to Vega. “Because I feel like it, there was more to go,” she responded to the spokesperson Baldoví, from whom she was only separated by a hallway. “You’re saying crazy things,” he reproached.
“And what about freedom of expression? Where is freedom of expression?” said Vega, who in his ‘X’ profile posted the following comment accompanied by the moment: “If Joan Baldoví believes that he is going to cover up our Vox’s mouth… he’s clear! Here he comes home crying.”
Councilor Núñez appeared in the Valencian Parliament to explain the lines of work of her department in the legislature. Also the president of the Valencian Generalitat, Carlos Mazón, presented his draft bill to accompany the 2024 Budget, which includes tax deductions for health and sports expenses, and a reduction in the property transfer tax.
