Wyatt, whose real name was Windham Rotunda, was known for his captivating performances and unique persona in the wrestling world.

In his heartfelt announcement, Triple H stated, “Just received a call from WWE Hall of Famer Mike Rotunda who informed us of the tragic news that our WWE family member for life Windham Rotunda – also known as Bray Wyatt – unexpectedly passed earlier today.” He expressed his condolences to Wyatt’s family and urged everyone to respect their privacy during this difficult time.

The cause of Wyatt’s death has not been revealed. WWE released a statement on Twitter expressing their sadness and extending their condolences to Wyatt’s family, friends, and fans.

Wyatt came from a long line of wrestlers in his family, including his father Mike Rotunda, grandfather Blackjack Mulligan, and younger brother Bo Dallas. He initially joined WWE in 2009 and was added to the main roster in 2010 under the ring name Husky Harris. However, he left a year later and rejoined in 2013 to lead the Wyatt Family.

In August 2018, Wyatt took a brief hiatus but returned the following year with a new character called The Fiend, which became a fan-favorite. Throughout his WWE career, Wyatt held the world championship title three times, including one WWE Championship and two Universal Championships.

Dwayne Johnson, also known as The Rock, took to social media to pay tribute to Wyatt. He expressed his heartbreak over the news and praised Wyatt’s presence, promos, in-ring work, and connection with the WWE universe. Johnson also mentioned the recent passing of wrestling legend Terry Funk and sent his love and condolences to the Rotunda family and Funk family.

Wyatt is survived by his fiancée Joseann Offerman, a professional wrestler and ring announcer, and their two children, as well as two children from a previous marriage. The wrestling community and fans around the world are mourning the loss of this iconic performer who left an indelible mark on the industry.
