Brazil expresses its appreciation of the avant-garde role in Africa of HM the King and welcomes the dynamic of openness and modernization of Morocco under the enlightened leadership of the Sovereign (Joint Communiqué)
Rabat – Brazil welcomed the dynamic of openness and modernization that Morocco is experiencing, under the enlightened leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, expressing its appreciation of the vanguard role that the Sovereign exercises in Africa, making Kingdom a credible partner and listened to on the international scene.
This position was expressed in the joint communiqué, adopted at the end of the talks, Friday in Rabat, between the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans living abroad, Nasser Bourita, and the Minister of Affairs Foreign Ministers of the Federative Republic of Brazil, Mauro Vieira, on an official visit to the Kingdom.
During this meeting, the two ministers discussed the recent Initiatives announced by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, in particular that which aims to promote the stability, security and economic prosperity of African countries bordering the Atlantic, Initiative to promote access of the Sahel States to the Atlantic Ocean, as well as the strategic Morocco-Nigeria gas pipeline project which aims to strengthen regional integration and stimulate economic development along the African Atlantic coast and beyond. beyond that, underlines the joint press release.
According to the same document, the two parties also expressed interest in joint actions in the areas of food security in Africa.
