More than 100 people have been trapped in a landslide caused by heavy rains in Brazil.

Rio de Janeiro continues to receive heavy rains. Heavy rains in one day caused rivers to overflow and flood. Thus water seeped into the towns.
Many were buried in the soil as landslides occurred in various places. Soldiers were involved in the rescue operation. The bodies of those trapped in the floods and landslides are being recovered.
In this situation, many bodies were recovered in the ongoing rescue operation. The death toll from the floods and landslides rose to 117.
More than 100 people are missing, police said. Rescue teams are still searching for them.
