Faith in God is expressed in many ways, varying according to culture and country, something for which Brazil stands out on the world stage, according to a survey carried out by the Global Religion 2023 (Global Religion 2023).
According to a survey carried out in 26 countries, 89% of Brazilians said they believed in God or a superior being. The country leads the list made up of nations like South Africa, which appears tied with 89% and Colombia in second, with 86%.
The lowest rates were in the Netherlands (40%), South Korea (33%) and Japan, with only 19%. As for the profession of faith, 70% of the Brazilians surveyed said they were Christians and 79% said they believed in the existence of life in paradise, according to search.
