Brazilian singer Marilia Mendonza dies in plane crash

Brazilian singer Marilia Mendonza died in a light plane crash in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais, her press service said in Twitter… Both pilots, producer and singer’s assistant were also killed in the crash. Ms. Mendonce was 26 years old, her son was just under two years old.

The plane was heading to the city of Quaranta, where the singer was supposed to perform with a concert, according to the Brazilian edition of G1. The cause of the crash is unclear.
