Students from Farroupilha school, in Rio Grande do Sul, João Pedro dos Santos Hartmann, 16 years old, and Marco Antônio Conde, 15 years old, took home, at the end of last year, the gold medal at the World Innovative Science Project Olympiad ( Wispo) 2023. The project analyzes the ability of particle accelerators to treat cancer, using a reduced device made from school objects.
