Shooting Incident in Västra Frölunda Leaves Man Injured
On Monday evening, the police were called to a residential area in Västra Frölunda following reports of multiple shootings. Several patrols, as well as an ambulance, rushed to the scene to attend to the situation.
“We received several calls regarding shootings in the area,” said Jon Franzén, the officer on duty at police region West during the night.
Upon arrival, the police discovered a man who had been shot in the leg. The victim also had a head injury and was immediately taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Several witnesses reported hearing more than five explosions during the time of the incident. One witness claimed to have seen a car intentionally hitting a man on a moped. After the collision, individuals from the car allegedly exited the vehicle and shot the injured person.
“There were two men dressed in black with hoods who stepped out of the picture and shot this person,” the witness said.
The investigation is ongoing, with authorities not ruling out the involvement of additional perpetrators.
