30 positions encouraging women to make an appointment for early detection of breast cancer were placed this week in the branches of the BE Pharma chain. The positions were placed in honor of the month of October known as the month of raising awareness for the early detection of breast cancer. The BE Pharm chain joined in raising awareness for the early detection of breast cancer and placed stands with a pink “crown” chair in about 30 of its branches under the concept “Sit a moment, this moment may save your life”.
The edition is produced in collaboration with the association “Ehat Mitshea” that works for women facing the disease, with all proceeds going to the association and promoting the issue of early detection. It should be noted that approximately 5,500 new breast cancer patients are diagnosed in Israel every year, but when the disease is diagnosed at an early stage, the chances of recovery are over 90%, according to the data of the One in Nine association.

Be is the brand for which the pharmacy chain, the second largest in Israel, is known. The company was founded in 1991 and as of October 2021 the chain had 90 branches. Until November 2018, the chain was known as New-Pharm, and was managed by the company “New Pharm Drugstores Ltd”.
