Riyadh | Awareness was organized as part of World Breast Cancer Month by Hadiya Women’s Academy under Central Province Indian Cultural Foundation (ICF). Laparoscopic consultant surgeon Dr. Afra Abdurrahman took a class on breast cancer risk in expatriate women.
Expatriate housewives are prone to breast cancer due to high fat diet. Lifestyle factors including irregular sleep patterns and lack of exercise are causes of breast cancer. The doctor explained the means of self-examination and said that there is nothing to fear if treatment is given early.
A video presentation introducing the activities and achievements of Hadiya Women’s Academy was also held. Hadiya Women’s Academy Saudi National Raiza Mumtaz Salim Palachira organized the event. Zainaba Abdurrahman (Central Province Raisa) welcomed and Nuju Mujeeb gave vote of thanks.
