The digital cargo insurance company Breeze partnered with logistics software provider Ceedbox and the transportation giant Cardinal Global Logistics to develop a solution that offers instant all-risk cargo insurance, addressing the problem of underinsured freight.
Cardinal now uses the advanced technology of Ceedbox and the APIs of Breeze to constantly automate and streamline quote generation, policy linking, and claims processing, reducing the time and effort required to provide accurate cargo insurance coverage.
“An estimated 70% of world trade is uninsured or underinsured. In a fast-paced world, cargo brokers need to be agile and responsive to meet their clients’ expectations, which is why we are developing cargo insurance solutions for them,” he stated. Eyal Goldberg, CEO and founder of Breeze.
Designed with operators in mind Cardinal, the solution of Ceedbox y Breeze automates the offer of insurance to customers without the need to add or change anything in their operations. This has minimized manual input and human error, leading to a significant reduction in discrepancies and insurance claim issues, allowing the carrier to provide a more efficient and comprehensive service to its customers.
