The Department of Financial Investigations of the State Control Committee for the Brest Region suppressed the illegal activities of a Brest limited liability company that provided intercity passenger transportation services using an online booking service.
It was established that for four years the organization hid from taxation the revenue received from the provision of services totaling over 7.5 million rubles. Part of the hidden proceeds was used to pay wages “in an envelope” to more than 70 employees of the company.
The amount of unpaid taxes amounted to over 700 thousand rubles. A criminal case has been initiated against the director of the company for large-scale tax evasion. A preliminary investigation is underway.
