Carlos Arthur Nussman jailed for bribing Olympic committee officials to select Rio de Janeiro to host 2016 Olympics Nusman was the head of the Brazilian Olympic Committee. The court sentenced Nusman to 30 years in prison. It is a crime to bribe the elites and influence them to get votes.
