Brief Report: Comments are in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge

by time news

Today sees the arrival of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge across multiple platforms, including Switch.

In case you missed the cover before its release, this is a classic-inspired grit that features not only turtles, but plenty of other familiar faces. There is also multiplayer for up to six players. If you’re still not sold, read on to see our review report so far.

First, we will highlight what we have. We gave the game 9 out of 10 “excellent” stars:

Well, with that away, here are some ideas by the way – to start with IGN, who gave this new version an 8 out of 10:

“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge is exactly what it sounds like: a loving reimagining of TMNT arcade games from one of the top beat-em-up developers in the business today.”

Nintendo World Report gave the latest Turtle game 9 out of 10:

“In short, if you’re a TMNT fan or love rhythm games, you’re sure to love Shredder’s Revenge, which is colorful and upbeat, especially if you can find a few other ninjas to enjoy.”

GameBible was equally impressed, awarding 9 others out of 10:

“issue shredder revenge Together with people like Streets of Rage 4 And girls river town As a contemporary masterpiece of its kind, an exemplary display of how to decorate a stylistic road already cut after many first-hand experiences, and somehow make the journey more special than the destination.”

Sun gave it 4 out of 5 stars, but there were a few issues:

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge Seeking to relive the glory days of Konami’s side-scrolling arcade games and home visits based on everyone’s favorite young green ninja. In visuals and gameplay, Dotemu and Tribute Games have not only matched but perhaps even surpassed those old classics they laud here. Unfortunately, this time travel is somewhat marred by an inconsistent sound and an arcade mode that sounds more like a chore than a suspense.”

And on top of all that, GoNintendo – another port I like:

“TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge is the real article and once again proves Dotemu’s incredible respect/understanding of classic hit matches. We now know Tribute Games can do the same thing, and these two teams have resulted in not only one of the best TMNT games ever, but one of the best hitting games in years. “
