- Sculpture of closed Poseidon in Progress
Inspectors from the Federal Attorney General’s Office for Environmental Protection (Profepa) in Yucatan closed the statue of Poseidon for not showing the environmental impact authorization from the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (Semarnat).
The environmental authority decided to establish this security measure because the structure was installed in marine water spaces, 25 meters from the coastline, offshore from the beach known as El Playón.
The statue of Poseidon was placed by the city council of Progreso de Castro in front of the seafront.
The Environmental Protection Representation Office in Yucatan will continue with the administrative procedure to determine the appropriate actions. 24 hours Yucatan

1,100 recovered liters of fuel
In a joint operation carried out by the Secretariat of Public Security (SSP) and the Secretariat of the Navy (Semar), more than 1,100 liters of hydrocarbons of presumed illicit origin were recovered in Texcapa, Huauchinango.
State Police and Semar officers located a truck with license plates from the State of Mexico abandoned in the area.
Upon inspection of the vehicle, 12 containers containing the same amount of fuel were found.
Both the vehicle and the containers were placed at the disposal of the ministerial authorities, who began the corresponding investigation.

Din arrested, dismantled marijuana greenhouse
In a building located on Paseo del Prado street in block 331 of Benito Juárez, Quintana Roo, a greenhouse used to grow and process marijuana was dismantled.
Agents from the State Prosecutor’s Office executed a search warrant in collaboration with elements of the National Guard and the Secretariat of National Defense.
Authorities found synthetic bags in the property, which contained dehydrated green vegetables, as well as glass pipes. They also found pots with marijuana plants. In addition, in the house, there was a room used to dehydrate the plants that were grown there. The agents placed official seals on the property, indicating that the place was secured. /quadratin
