Bolsonaro accused of criminal association
Former President Jair Bolsonaro is at the center of a scandal over the illegal sale of jewelry and luxury items valued at $1.2 million, according to a Federal Police report. 5.9 magnitude earthquake causes some damage
A 5.9-magnitude earthquake with its epicenter in the border region between Panama and Costa Rica caused damage to some buildings but no casualties, Panamanian authorities reported.
The quake struck at 04:54 local time with its epicenter 15 km east of the community of Progreso, in the province of Chiriquí, about 500 km southwest of Panama City, according to the Institute of Geosciences of the University of Panama. The damage included some houses affected. / 24 HORAS

Bukele investigates markets for prices
Authorities in El Salvador have begun inspections in markets and supermarkets after President Nayib Bukele ordered a crackdown on business “mafias” following the excessive rise in food prices.
