Again… the top was taken by Arsenal, who managed to pass the home of Brighton, winning 3-0, in the context of the 32nd game of the Premier League. Mikel Arteta’s side were excellent in the first half having big moments and effective in the second, getting the positive result relatively easily.
So he climbed to the top of the league with 71 points and will wait to see what Liverpool will do when they play Manchester United.
In the first half Arsenal were the absolute dominant pressing hard enough to find the goal that would… unlock Brighton’s defence. This came shortly after the half-hour mark when Bucayo Saka opened the scoring in the 33rd minute with a well-placed penalty to make it 1-0 at half-time.
The pace dropped in the second half, with no classic opportunities for either team. Despite this, Mikel Arteta’s players found a second goal with Kai Havertz making it 2-0 in the 62nd minute, giving his team another boost. In fact, the “gunners” had to add… the icing on the cake, with Leandro Trosar finding the net in the 86th minute for the final 3-0.
