The French cinema icon was celebrating her 90th birthday. An event celebrated by the residents of Saint-Tropez, her adopted town, but also by her fans from around the world with letters and gifts. They arrived in packages, reported Nice-Matin, and all passed through the hands of France’s foremost animal rights activist.
In her villa, Brigitte Bardot has been surrounded for a week by “tons” of correspondence, arriving in whole sacks from all over the world, containing poems, paintings, jars of jam, but also bouquets or chocolate. Our colleagues, present when the actress opened one of these packages, even reported that an admirer sent her cakes from Honfleur.
