Human-made climate change is responsible for Britain’s record-breaking heat wave this month, according to the study.
Record temperatures were recorded in 34 parts of Britain as a heat wave hit its peak in Western Europe on the 20th.
In a similar climate, an international team of experts compared what temperatures would have been like in the 19th century before the Industrial Revolution with the current recorded temperatures. According to the report, this month’s unprecedented heat wave in Britain is due to human-made global warming and the resulting climate change.
