The Conservative politician’s explanation was released by a British parliamentary committee investigating corona parties and other violations of corona measures by Johnson and his employees during the lockdown. The issue is whether Johnson, as Prime Minister in December 2021, deliberately misled parliamentarians about illegal parties being held during the covid-19 lockdown. Johnson is expected to give an oral explanation on Wednesday.
