With a large audience and the presence of National authorities, the 49th edition of the Provincial Fair of Education, Arts, Sciences and Technology in Mar del Plata was inaugurated. The fair brings together students from educational establishments of all levels and modalities of the Buenos Aires educational system to present the projects they have developed together with their teaching staff. The 6th year students Braian Lobos and Bruno Maldonado participated together with Professor Iván Schofer. Taking bronze medal in two competitions.
Mayor Ricardo Moccero congratulates the students of Technical School No. 1 for the excellent technological project and the great capacity of young people to perfect themselves in a science of the future such as “robotics”.

Events in the “robotics” category are Sumo, where the robot receives orders from a pilot and must knock its opponent out of the circle they are in; Clear Area, in which the robot is programmed to make decisions autonomously and to clear the circle occupied by different objects in the shortest possible time; and Follow Line, where the robot is also programmed to make decisions autonomously and travel a previously determined circuit in the shortest possible time.
The first competition was in the category “remove objects” and “follow the line”, where they placed 3rd with a time of 00:31:48, Blue was first with a time of 00:29:99 and second Carmen de Areco with a time of 00:30:09.
While in the second discipline “follow the line” they were 3rd with a time of 00:14:14. In first place was Navarro with a time of 00:12:97 and second Loberia with a time of 00:13:65.
On Thursday they competed in the Sumo category, losing in the 4th final against Lomas de Zamora and then we competed in the triathlon, losing in the 8th final against Carmen de Areco.
On Friday, the medals were awarded to the 25 participating teams in all disciplines.
