Sabino Ramon Vargas Armoa, 40, “Guaviru”, executed last night (14) on the border between Paraguay and Mato Grosso do Sul, was shot with 24 shots from a 9 mm pistol. Brother of the wife of gunman Marcio Ariel Sánchez Giménez, 35, known as “Aguacate”, Sabino was identified as the intellectual author of his brother-in-law’s murder, which took place on June 15 of this year.
According to the National Police, Guavirú was killed at his mother’s house, in Colônia Aguará, 50 km from Capitán Bado, a neighboring city of Coronel Sapucaia (MS).
Two gunmen arrived at the house looking for Sabino. As soon as he went out to talk to the strangers, he realized he was going to be killed. The man tried to run, but was hit in the back and fell near the barbecue. The killers approached and fired several more shots into the victim’s head.
According to prosecutor Hernán Mendoza, who was at the scene of the execution, 27 9 mm caliber shells were collected. He reported that at least two weapons were used by the killers. The police did not find Guavirú’s gun or his cell phone.
After the murder of Sabino Armoa, the Paraguayan press revealed that the warrant for his arrest on suspicion of involvement in the execution of Marcio Ariel did not appear in the National Police system.

Guavirú and Fabio Ramón Benítez Gauto, 37, the “Master”, head of security in Aguacate, were named as perpetrators of the murder of the gun boss. The two would have sold themselves to other criminal organizations and plotted the execution of the feared international killer.
Aguacate was called to the house rented by Guavirú, supposedly to participate in a barbecue. During the celebration, he was shot and his body, wrapped in an orange blanket, was thrown in the middle of the street, near Pedro Juan Caballero’s Palace of Justice. The National Police have not yet commented on the “disappearance” of Sabino Armoa’s arrest warrant.
