Adviser to Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges Muhammad Fawzul Kabir Khan has directed to complete the construction work of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project by 2024.
On Saturday (September 21), he visited the construction work of the BRT project along with France’s ambassador to Bangladesh Marie Masdupoui. He gave this instruction in a discussion meeting organized in the meeting room of Gazipur BRT Bus Depot office.
Muhammad Fawzul Kabir Khan said, “We need to bring creativity, efficiency and dynamism to our work to provide the desired services to the people.” The involvement of local administration and local people should be increased for proper planning and management of the project. Care must be taken to ensure that public money is properly deployed in the service of the people. In the movement, immediate steps should be taken to repair and renovate the properties damaged by the BRT project. Security of BRT project needs to be enhanced.
