Brugada confirms construction of more dairies in the capital

During the event, the general manager of Liconsa announced that the district has the space and conditions to create 50 new dairies for the population.

“The general manager of Liconsa said that in Iztapalapa there are the conditions to install at least 50 more dairies“, Brugada reiterated.

In relation to the city, the next capital leader added that the conditions will allow the installation of around 150 new dairies from Liconsa, as he pointed out that the objective is for the Government to extend subsidies to the population.

The future head of government said that Mexico City currently has 534 Liconsa dairies, in addition to the popular supply stores.

Brugada explained that the cost per liter of Liconsa milk is 6 pesos and 50 cents, while commercial brands are around 30 pesos, so he assured that spaces like the one inaugurated today benefit citizens by ensuring the right to healthy food, food security, and access to a basic basket.
