Brugada promises to leave Mexico City without potholes

The elected head of government, Clara Brugadaassured that he will launch a “Great Bacheton” to make the capital a city without potholes; while in the Venustiano Carranza municipality the Ignacio Zaragoza median will be rehabilitated.

During an assembly in the Morelos neighborhood, in the Venustiano Carranza municipality, the capital’s next governor said that after the rainy season, the streets and avenues are very damaged, so one of the actions of her first 100 days in office will be to maintain them throughout the city.

“After the rains, the streets are left in horrible condition, so we are going to start, with the City Government and all the mayors, starting on October 15, a ‘Great Pothole Repair’ that will leave Mexico City without potholes,” announced Brugada.

Regarding the actions for Venustiano Carranza, he announced that he will be in charge of rehabilitating the median strip of Calzada Ignacio Zaragoza, using the “Rescate del Río” project as an example, which was implemented in Colombia.

“We are going to leave it in a very good state; when we pass through Zaragoza and see the median strip, it will be a median strip that can be admired and, above all, used by its population,” said the future head of government.

Finally, the Morena member said that they have many tasks and commitments ahead, which they will fulfill by working hand in hand with all the mayors.

“We are going to work very hard, we are going to coordinate very well and we are going to complete all the pending tasks, all the tasks to improve the City and to make Venustiano Carranza shine even more,” he concluded.
