The head of Government, Clara Brugadaendorsed Mexico City’s commitment to paying attention to the causes that lead to migration, as well as the protection of human rights, a position expressed by the president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum.
Through a publication on her social networks, the capital president highlighted the commitment and support for the position of the leader of the Federal executive to address migration issues.

“We support the positioning and work of our president, Claudia Sheinbaum, who prioritizes addressing the causes of migration and the protection of the human rights of those who are in other countries,” said Brugada on social networks.
Likewise, he indicated that with this approach of attention to the causes, the commitment to the humanist postulates of the Fourth Transformation is reiterated, to which the other Morenoist entities are added.
“We consider global mobility as a phenomenon that is generated from deep social and economic causes; Population centers in countries and regions where there are no conditions for a dignified life and well-being are forced to look for better alternatives abroad,” the publication states.

The statement, signed by the other Morenoist governors, points out that migration can only be resolved through attention to the deep causes that cause it, such as poverty and the creation of equitable opportunities for shared and inclusive development.
Likewise, the document recognizes the contributions to economic development, social life and cultural enrichment generated by Mexicans abroad, mainly in the United States.
In this sense, the 4T governments agreed that attention to migration can only occur through collaboration for development, invariable respect for the sovereignty of the countries, and the defense of human rights.

“The answer is not in harshness, but in attention to poverty. The solution lies in coordination to create conditions that effectively benefit nations at the continental level,” the document highlights.
In this way, the head of Government and the rest of the heads of Morenoist entities reaffirmed their support for Sheinbaum to collaborate in the implementation of immigration policies, the defense of national sovereignty and solidarity with fellow citizens.
