“They were just relentless out there,” one analyst noted. “Khusnutdinov’s finishing was clinical, and Zacha was everywhere, creating opportunities and capitalizing on them.”

Fraser Minten added two goals and an assist to the onslaught, with Charlie McAvoy, Elias Lindholm, and Henri Jokiharju each contributing with a goal or two assists.

Game Recap: A First Period Review Determines the Tone

The Rangers initially drew first blood at 1:24,with Mika Zibanejad capitalizing on a play orchestrated by Artemi Panarin. Rangers Struggle, Goaltending Concerns

The Rangers, now 1-4-2 in their last seven games, struggled to contain the Bruins’ relentless attack. Goaltender Jonathan Quick allowed six goals on 20 shots before being replaced by Spencer Martin, who conceded four goals on 14 shots.

“We just couldn’t find an answer for their offensive pressure,” a Rangers spokesperson stated.”Our goaltending struggled, and we made too many mistakes.”
