State-owned telecom company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched a broadband plan for Rs.499. This is a new project. That is, the program presented under a different name has been renamed and introduced as new.

BSNL’s Rs 499 plan offers unlimited voice calling with up to 3.3TB of FUP data with 40 Mbps internet speed. Once the FUP data limit is reached, the speed can be reduced to 4 Mbps. Users are also offered up to 90% off Rs.500 for the first month.

Benefits of NEO Broadband Plan
BSNL’s Rs 449 Fiber Basic Neo Broadband plan offers users 30 Mbps internet speed with monthly FUP data up to 3.3TB. After reaching the FUP data limit, the speed is reduced to 4 Mbps. Customers also get unlimited calling and 90% (up to Rs. 500) discount on the first month’s bill.
BSNL is going to discontinue Rs 775 and Rs 275 broadband plans soon. Both these schemes were introduced as part of the promotional offer during the 75th Independence Day.
