This warning is related to those fake schemes which make false promises in the name of installing mobile towers. The website is promising an amount ranging from ₹25,000 to ₹50,000 per month in exchange for installing towers on rooftops in rural, semi-urban and urban areas.

However, BSNL has clarified that this website is not related to the government telecom company and is a fraud. Its purpose is to steal personal information of those people who want to earn money by giving space for setting up towers.

The company stressed that the website is misleading people through false promises and appealed to customers to ignore such claims or messages. The company has also shared the screenshot of the fake website so that customers can identify it and remain alert.

Usually, when telecom companies install towers, they pay rent to the property owner every month. But BSNL has confirmed that it does not work through such websites nor make unrealistic claims. Customers are advised to contact the company directly for any queries related to tower installation. Also, users should not fall prey to any such fraud messages.
