Bucharest: Presentation of a Royal Wissam to the former Romanian ambassador to Morocco
Bucharest – The Moroccan embassy in Bucharest organized, on Wednesday, a ceremony in honor of the former Romanian ambassador in Rabat, Mrs. Daniela Bazavan, to present her with the Wissam Alaouite of the Order of Officer, which HM King Mohammed VI was kind enough to award her at the end of her mission in the Kingdom.
This ceremony was attended by many guests, including Mr. Cornell Feruta and Mrs. Daniela Gitman, Secretaries of State at the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, general directors, former ambassadors, and many personalities, indicates a press release from the Embassy of the Kingdom in Bucharest.
In a speech for the occasion, the ambassador of His Majesty the King in Bucharest, Hassan Abouyoub praised the deep relationship of friendship and respect between the two countries. He stressed that this High Royal distinction expresses both the appreciation of the efforts made by Mrs. Bazavan in consolidating the bilateral partnership and the Kingdom’s desire to outline more ambitious perspectives for our future actions in the service of shared prosperity.
For his part, Mr. Feruta highlighted the common values, cultural proximity and historical ties that unite the two friendly countries. In view of the common challenges that must be faced, he stressed the priority aspect of the partnership with Morocco, its modernization and adaptation to the demands of the moment.
For her part, Ms. Bazavan reiterated her full gratitude to HM King Mohammed VI, as well as her pride in receiving this prestigious distinction. She wanted to share her passion for the culture, history, and centuries-old traditions of the Kingdom and her admiration for the progress made by Morocco in all areas.
