Budget goes “balanced” to Congress and there is no time for changes, says Haddad By Reuters

BRASILIA (Reuters) – Finance Minister Fernando Haddad said on Tuesday that the 2024 budget project will be sent to Congress “balanced”, saying that at this moment there is no time to change the text, which should reach the Legislature in Thursday of this week.

Speaking to journalists in Brasília, Haddad said that the “balanced” budget means that primary revenues will be equal to primary expenditures, and he also stated that there are new measures in next year’s project.
