jpnn.comBANDUNG – Persib coach Bojan Hodak openly revealed that he cannot freely recruit new players in the transfer market for the 2024/25 Liga 1 half season.

The inhibiting factor is the limited budget of PT management. Persib Bandung with Dignity (PBB).

Hodak also asked Bobotoh—the nickname of Persib supporters—to understand this condition.

“Some people don’t understand when I talk about the budget, that it’s about money. We have a tight budget. “We have 2-3 players who have long-term injuries, and we have to keep paying them,” said Hodak, Wednesday (1/1).

“So, there is not much money left to bring in new players,” he continued.

According to Hodak, management must divide budget expenditure items for the current season.

Management rights for the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium (GBLA) and plans to build a training center are Persib’s long-term plans and require quite a lot of funds.

“Another problem, we have just obtained (management rights) for the stadium, and the management is trying to invest a lot of money to build a training center, improve the quality of the stadium, and there are still many things that have not been completed,” he added.
