The public finances programming law (LPFP) – the new outlines of which were revealed this Monday – gives an idea of ​​the road to take before transforming this promise, stated many times, into reality: Bercy promises no less than 12 billion euros of savings per year between 2025 and 2027 on the State and Social Security to straighten out the accounts, also helped by relatively sustained growth. A bet which “lacks credibility”, in the eyes of Pierre Moscovici, the president of the High Council of Public Finances, who also gave his opinion on this trajectory this Monday.
