Recently, the admission round of the Global Vietnamese Singing Competition was held in Hanoi, attracting thousands of contestants. The program’s judges include: Singer Siu Black, journalist Ngo Ba Luc, singer Ho Quang Tam, musician – singer Duong Truong Giang. In particular, the contest has the participation of guest judges – Bui Thanh Huong (Director of Green Journey Fund) as Deputy Organizing Committee, image and style advisor to contestants.

“Queen of Roses” shared, she was very nervous but also excited to take on this new role in a global music competition. Bui Thanh Huong said that the quality of contestants this year is quite uniform and has many bright spots. Many stories that the contestants brought touched the emotions of Bui Thanh Huong as well as the jury of the preliminary round.
Also here, Bui Thanh Huong had the idea of a charity music night starting from this special music competition, titled “Contribute loving sunshine”. Receiving support from Mr. Henry Nguyen – Chairman of Unicorn Vietnam, founder of Global Vietnamese Singing, the music night took place in Hanoi, with the appearance of all judges in the competition. Mr. Henry Nguyen, Head of the organizing committee, shared: “The historic storm Yagi has caused heavy damage to both people and property in the North. That’s why, right after the preliminary round of the Global Vietnamese Singing Contest, we discussed and immediately performed the music night “Contributing the Sun to Love” to join hands with fellow artists and businessmen. “Light After the Flood” project of the Green Journey Fund, helps students in flooded areas be able to steadily go to school after the difficulties caused by natural disasters.
In addition, Bui Thanh Huong added: “As Director of the Green Journey Fund, accompanying campaigns to support people in the North to overcome the recent historic flood season, we are extremely saddened by the unfortunate circumstances in every place the caravan’s wheels passed. Many schools were flooded and had to temporarily suspend teaching activities to overcome the consequences, many students suffered damage from storms and floods…
Therefore, the Green Journey Fund and “Light After the Flood” want to partly support students to overcome difficulties and steadily go to school. The music night “Contributing Sunshine to Love” is the connection point for us and everyone to carry out that meaningful work.”

Although quite busy with many schedules, when receiving the invitation from the organizers, singer Siu Black agreed to participate in the music night “Contribute to the love of sunshine”. The female singer confided: “The hearts of people all over the country are turning to the North with sharing words and best wishes. With my small effort in this meaningful program, I want us to join hands to help people in natural disaster areas to partly overcome the consequences of the storm, and soon stabilize their lives, especially Especially students can happily go to school.”

The music night “Contributing sunshine to love” took place successfully with 266 million contributed to “Light after the flood”. In the near future, Bui Thanh Huong and members of the Green Journey Fund will give gifts in this project to children in Bac Giang, Phu Tho, Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Son La, Ha Giang…
