A residential building collapsed and collapsed over the weekend in central China. Dozens were captured. Tonight (Sunday through Monday) two people were rescued from the rubble. Local police reported that the owner of the building was arrested along with the three responsible for its construction. Five more were arrested from their hearts.
The cause of the collapse has not been officially announced by the authorities.
The BBC reported that on Saturday the president called for a search “at all costs” for what led to the collapse and called for an investigation into the incident, with a number of buildings in China in the background collapsing in recent years.
Emergency forces in the area are warning of nearby buildings that were damaged as a result of the collapse and are now also in danger of collapsing.
Chinese media reported a woman who was evacuated yesterday afternoon from the rubble, after staying under them for about fifty hours. Her life was reportedly not in danger and she was evacuated to the hospital.
