Bulgaria will participate in all volleyball world championships in 2025.
And the last question mark surrounding our team was dropped after the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) announced that our country qualified for the World Cup for juniors up to 19 years old by ranking.
Earlier it became clear that Bulgaria will have men’s and women’s representatives, and three youth teams – men and women under 21, as well as women under 19, earned their place at the World Cup with their positions at the European championships this year .
Thus, our country will have representatives of all six championships on the planet next year.
The FIVB announced the hosts of the junior championships:
the U21 Men’s World Cup in China from August 18 to 31;
the Under-21 Women’s World Cup in Indonesia from August 4 to 17;
The U19 Men’s World Cup in Uzbekistan from July 21 to August 3;
The U19 Women’s World Cup in Croatia and Serbia from July 7 to 20.
The FIVB has changed the format of the world championships in all age groups, so that from 2025 there will be a record number of 24 countries from the five continents in each one. All the participating countries and the date of the draw for each championship are yet to be announced.
