Our nationwide workforce carried out excellently within the Balkan Arithmetic Olympiad for contributors below the age of 15 and a half. Six Bulgarian college students returned from Turkey with six medals. This was introduced by the press middle of the Ministry of Schooling and Tradition.

The ninth-grader Boris Markov from the Sofia Mathematical Excessive Faculty “Paisiy Hilendarski” received a golden distinction.

The Bulgarian college students received a complete of 4 silver medals. The prizes are for eighth-graders Yoana Mladenova and Hristo Balarev from the Sofia Arithmetic Excessive Faculty “Paisiy Hilendarski”, Bozhidar Sakarev from the First Personal Arithmetic Excessive Faculty in Sofia and Alexander Pendov from the “Akademik Kiril Popov” Arithmetic Excessive Faculty in Plovdiv.

The bronze medal was taken by seventh-grader Stoyan Baltov from the Profiled Science and Arithmetic Excessive Faculty “Acad. Nikola Obreshkov” in Burgas.

Within the workforce rating, Bulgaria is in second place out of a complete of 11 official collaborating international locations, and thus our nation ranks after the hosts from Turkey.

The heads of the Bulgarian workforce are Miroslav Marinov and Affiliate Professor Ivaylo Kortezov from the Institute of Arithmetic and Informatics on the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.

The competitors occurred between June 25 and 30 in Antalya.
