A company based in Sofia bought and sold the pagers of Hezbollah fighters that exploded in Lebanon to Shiite terrorists. This was claimed by the Hungarian news site Telex, after Hungary was also involved in the delivery of the devices.

The coordinated explosions killed 12 people and injured nearly 3,000.

The company in question is Norta Global Ltd. According to its company file, the company was registered in Sofia on April 14, 2022, and its headquarters are located on Vitosha Blvd. in Sofia. Its activity is “technological project management”. The owner of the company is Norwegian.

After the blasts, Taiwanese pager manufacturer Gold Apollo distanced itself from the case and said it had manufactured the devices under license from Hungary’s BAC Consulting.

“In fact, the devices were never in Hungary,” Telex wrote, citing its sources. Meanwhile, the information was also confirmed by the Hungarian government.

The sources of the Hungarian publication also claim that the managing director of BAC Consulting Cristiana Barsoni-Arcidiacono was connected to the Bulgarian company Norta Global. The Bulgarian company imported the pagers from Taiwan and then sold them to Hezbollah. According to Telex, the Hungarian company was only necessary to cover up the Bulgarian involvement in the case.
