New Delhi: Public works department with bulldozer operation in national capital. Officials demolished parts of the dargah located near Hazrat Nizamuddin’s shrine in south Delhi. The PWD action came after the Delhi Police and other armed forces were deployed for security.
The incident took place near the Chakarwali Masjid, which is located on the opposite side of Mathura Road. Workers have started removing the debris from the demolished building, police said. The officials demolished two rooms and walls of the dargah. Security personnel are still at the scene.
