Bullet train service has been launched from China to Laos.
The bullet train will cover a distance of 35 km from Kumming, the capital of Yunnan, to Vientiane, the capital of Laos, in 10 hours. 160 km Speaking at the launch of the high-speed train service, Chinese President Xi Jinping said the bullet train service would take China-Laos trade link to the next level. The Chinese government plans to extend the service to Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore soon.
