Bureaucracy relief: from today – tax approvals for registering real estate transactions will appear in the “personal area”

by time news

The Tax Authority is launching a new service for the public, which allows every citizen to receive in the personal area of the Tax Authority’s website the tax approvals given for the purpose of registering the real estate transactions he made in the land registry registers (Taboo). This, starting with transactions carried out from 1983 onwards.

According to the law, it is not possible to register a real estate transaction that has been carried out in the land registers (taboo) without confirmation from the tax authority that the taxes for the transaction (appreciation tax and purchase tax) have been legally paid. After a real estate transaction is carried out and reported to the tax authority, and after the authority completes the processing In the transaction, the authority sends the approvals to the operators of the transaction.

Sometimes, especially when several years pass between the date of the transaction and the date of its registration in the land registry, the transaction operator is required to keep the approvals for a long time, physically come to the regional real estate taxation offices and receive the approval manually or contact the Tax Authority’s service center and request that the approvals be presented to him via postal delivery.

The new service eliminates the need to contact the Tax Authority by allowing the transaction operator to download the confirmation from his personal area on the Tax Authority website at any time. The aforementioned service joins many other services provided by the Tax Authority through the “personal area” and whose purpose is to make things easier for the taxpayers and the bureaucracy.
