In order to pay a well-deserved tribute to his life of service, this Wednesday, police authorities accompanied the family of Commissioner Douglas Omar García Funes at his burial at the La Resurrección Memorial Park.
“The PNC had the privilege of having a man like Douglas (García Funes) serve it,” said the deputy director of the Rural Police, Commissioner Pedro Baltazar González, during the burial of this national hero.
According to statements from the Press Secretariat, members of the PNC paid tribute to the deputy director of Specialized Operational Areas, Commissioner Douglas Omar García Funes, during his burial.
“The police band played the National Anthem of El Salvador at the funeral of Commissioner Douglas Omar García Funes,” the Press Office said.
